Shoe Companies

As if Nike wasn't already enough for Skater Owned Stores to deal with, Converse and K Swiss have jumped on the band wagon. This is a large blow to Skateboarding, but hopefully they won't eat into our "niche" market as much as the Swoosh did. Im over the whole Don't Do It ordeal now, but I'm beginning to be pushed that way again. Since when were K Swiss ever even considered cool by a skater let alone worn to skate in. Fair play to Nike and Converse (even though they're the same company now) because skaters have been rocking Blazers and Chucks for 30 years now. But the White Monstrousities aren't going to be in the market for long despite having Almost Round 3 superstar Greg Lutzka on the team.

Converse definitely got it right straight away signing 5 real deals: Anthony Pappalardo, Ethan Fowler, Sammy Bacca, Raymond Molinar and Nick Trapasso, all of whom have had killer parts year in year out and all have a great style, they have covered all the bases on the team and then some. Well done Nike you've forced me to like you again.
