The Eternal

Sonic Youth's 15th (well 16th if you count their eponymous record) album is definitely up to par with they're other material, it's no Daydream Nation or Sister, but not that far off. It's inventive start to finish, and the lead 3 have voyaged into new territory: Harmonising, that's right they've finally started singing together, not just against each other. Sacred Trickster is a great rocky opener and Anti Orgasm is along the same lines. The next two tracks are a lot quieter and Antenna is my favourite track I've heard in a while, just a nice poppy song, with classic SY effects that sound similar to the effects they used on the Goo album. Its a great album and I really rate it, for SY fans its a must have but you already know that right?
